The Challenge:

Design a comfortable space to accommodate comprehensive cancer outpatient treatment rooms and state of the art equipment, while remaining flexible in the design to incorporate possible future equipment additions.

AE Design Solution:

The arts and crafts style split-face concrete block we applied to the exterior allows the project to blend into its residential setting while keeping maintenance to a minimum. In addition, the design provided a comfortable interior with vaulted ceilings and plenty of space to house the facility's cutting-edge equipment, including a linear accelerator, HDR, and PET, with room to accommodate additional equipment in the future.
