The Challenge:

Add a vault to an existing three-story medical office building and relocate the Women's Diagnostic Imaging Center.

AE Design Solution:

We designed the concrete vault to meet precise requirements, and then masked the scale of the vault by wrapping the addition in glass that matched the exterior of the existing building. Additionally, with careful planning in the design and construction phases, we were able to complete the vault and relocate the Women's Diagnostic Imaging Center without disrupting the operation of the cancer center.
