The Challenge:

Design the interior spaces of a new suburban three-story medical office building to serve as an outreach center of The Kirklin Clinic's downtown facility. An existing vault would be modified to accommodate a new Hi-Art Tomotherapy linear accelerator.

AE Design Solution:

AE Design carried the modern motif with classic forms to the interior spaces of the Medical Office Building. The interior layout was designed to maximize daylight for patient comfort, and integrate facility functions and aesthetics. Design for the new TomoTherapy linear accelerator was one of the first ten of its kind in the world. Spaces were designed for radiation and medical oncology facilities as well as cardiology, surgery and ob/gyn suites.
