The Challenge:

Slidell Louisiana needed to establish a state of the art comprehensive cancer center to serve the growing demand for cancer diagnosis and treatment in the Gulf South Region.

AE Design Solution:

The design solution groups together several hospital based modalities, private practices and supportive care service in a way that provides a cohesive environment to make the patient's treatment as convenient and comfortable as possible.

A three story atrium provides a bright and welcoming entrance with waiting space for family and friends. The atrium also provides a connection between the offices and clinical spaces to support this unified approach to cancer treatment and patient care.
