The Challenge:

Design a new cancer center adjacent to the existing ambulatory surgery center to expand treatment options while enlarging the patient waiting, reception, and discharge areas to better accommodate the increasing patient capacity.

AE Design Solution:

Adding a one-story, 6,000 SF space allows for a single common reception, waiting area for Winter Park Urology Associates and the Orlando Cancer Institute. By including a new cancer treatment vault and support spaces, together, both centers can continue to grow while expanding treatment options for all types of cancer.
